This Privacy Policy explains how Equora LLC (“Equora,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website and purchase from us.
1. Information we collect
You provide: name, email, billing and shipping address, account credentials, and order details. Payment card details are entered with and processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Automatically: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and similar usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We do not intentionally collect health information, and we ask that you do not send it to us. Please do not include information about any medical condition, treatment, or personal health in order notes, support messages, or correspondence.
2. How we use information
To process and ship orders; create and manage your account; provide customer support; detect and prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal obligations; and, where you have opted in, send you marketing or restock notifications. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect site functionality.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed: with our payment provider to complete transactions; with shipping carriers to deliver orders; with service providers who support our operations (hosting, analytics, email); and where required by law or to protect our rights. In the event of a merger or sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We use advertising and analytics technologies, including the Meta pixel, which may disclose limited information about your visit — such as your IP address, browser identifiers, and the fact that a purchase occurred — to those providers. Under some state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, this may be treated as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as a “sale.” Our advertising pixel is deliberately configured not to transmit product names, categories, SKUs, or content identifiers.
To opt out of this sharing, email info@equoralab.com with the subject line “Privacy Choices.” We honour Global Privacy Control signals where required.
5. Data retention
We retain order and transaction records, including your research-use confirmation, for seven (7) years to meet tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations and to evidence the terms you agreed to. Account information is retained while your account is open and for two (2) years after it is closed. Support correspondence is retained for three (3) years. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the retention period of the relevant provider.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us at info@equoralab.com.
You may also designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authority and may require you to verify your own identity directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We aim to respond within 45 days.
8. Age
This site is intended for users who are 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 21, we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the effective date above.
